DIY inspiration for your home

i have been hiding from the blazing sun in my room with closed shades and spent some time looking for the ideas for home improvement. i have found some nice stuff. it doesn`t have to cost the world to make your home look different and interesting. here you go, you might find something you would like to try out:
pics found at http://vi.sualize.us/

if you have some rubish place nearby, go for a walk and take the saw with you :-) it is sad that many people throw still functionable pieces away to get something better and new...iam on the recycling trip putting a lot of "rubbish" in a new clothes. try it out, its more fun than buy such unique pieces for a plenty of money.

this looks a bit difficult, but i quess you will need  some old suitcase, thick foam, buttons, thick needle (my mum has remade our old sofa once) and you can get such a old chairlegs on the fleamarket. the colour combination is up to you...and i would not let person with over 90 kg sit on it :-))

this lovely paper tree is on my to-do list.

in small spaces, such a basket storage can come very handy.

old barock frames are not predicted just to hold some oil paintings ....let your creativity play...choose you favourite photos, postcards and make some collage.

all you need for this pillow, is plain pillow and some coloured fleece which you can cut in any shapes and then sew it on the pillow.

old boards don't have to be thrown away as you see.

maybe your grandfather was a fisher once??? then you can sail in your dreams :-)))

this one you can make out of some small drawer cabinets...use more than one colour and you have plenty of storage being a proper eyecatcher also!
ok, if you work full time, you are probably not going to try this one out :-)))

you can make this even indoors usind some board on the wall. i think ikea has some stuff to hold those in the place.

again....old chairs....nice paint you can mix on your own just how you wish, some coating on it, thick foam and piece of fabric which you can staple onto the chairs...i would definitelly fix these three chairs together before putting the foam and the fabric on it.

                                                                   i love shabby chick.

u can use a part of old ladder, paint it and then hang some decoration on it too.

iam going to do this one as i have some old crocheted tablecloth at home
